Characteristic of the polypropylene fibres  FIBRIBET ^®

The solutions offered by polypropylene fibres in civil engineering benefit from years of experience in hundreds of real life domestic and foreign applications.

Polypropylene fibres FIBRIBET ®  are used as an additive to concrete, mortar, plaster, screed, sealants, asphalts and bitumen mixtures. The fibres help to eliminate malfunctions and prevent the formation of cracks due to plastic expansion and contraction. Polypropylene fibres FIBRIBET ® ( the most often used length 12 mm ) prevent the formation of contraction cracks in the early phase of hardening and setting of the concrete. Once the concrete has been solidified, its characteristics do not change any more. Most often it is used for fine grain screed and water tight concrete. The dosage ranges from 0.6 to 0.9 kg/m3. The fibres are supplied in soluble packets and are dosed most often to automatic mobile concrete truck mixer (Betonpumpe) but also to the normal free-fall mixers used on construction sites. The package contains several millions of fine fibres, which are able to disperse fast, easily and evenly thanks to their special surface finish (lubrication). By adding the fibres FIBRIBET ® for instance to a concrete mixture or asphalt, we create an even stronger and more reliable material.
